This will start with a consultation where I will invite you into my studio in Aberdeen, Scotland if you live nearby or we can have a phone consultation. This gives me an opportunity to get to know you a little better and to also chat with you about your plans and wedding details. We can chat about your style, your wishes for your wedding stationery and personal touches that you may like to include in the design. The more I can find out the better!
We will discuss options that will work with your vision and after our consultation I will put together a quote along with a mood board. This mood board will include a colour palette, font choices, and imagery that represents what we discussed in our initial consultation, and a point of reference for us throughout the design process.
If you are happy to proceed based on the quote, then a 50% deposit is required based on approximate quantities needed (unless you know your final numbers) if you increase or decrease this amount by the time this goes to production then this will be amended in your final invoice. So you wont pay for any invitations that you don’t order.
Once the deposit has been paid, the most exciting part of the process begins, this is where I bring our ideas to life. I will get to work on the initial design proof and have this sent to you as a digital proof via email. From this point we will work together to develop the design and make any amends until you are happy with this.
A printed sample is possible and is charged at an additional cost (this price depends on the type of invitation, but starts at £15) Once you have checked and proofread all of the details on the design we can then go to the production stage, once you have signed off.
